I think what he's trying to say is that he thinks that we should get points for getting medals (#1#2#3) and lose them when we lose the medal.

Say Randy gets a #1 medal. He gets points for it. Then Storm comes along and takes the first place medal and Randy is second place. Randy would lose a third of the points he got.

I have though about doing a similar concept, but it doesn't really work.

This is my plan for the future:
High score games will be kinda like achievements. For example '1 point for scoring 5,000' '2 points for scoring 10,000' and '3 points for scoring 20,000'
