Sad day, founder and C.E.O of Apple has passed away, he was famous for the iPod, iPhone, Mac, etc. He will be missed by us all, so...what apple products do you own? i own an iPod

I personally don't own any Apple products yet (I may get a free Macbook Pro one day from my advisor) and probably would never buy one. I think Apple's way of releasing their newest iPod/iPhone is terrible with such small underwhelming features (where's a 4G iPhone or even better an iPhone that works on other than AT&T and Verizon). I also don't like the idea that the only way to get a Mac OS X machine is by buying an overly expensive Mac.

HOWEVER!

That doesn't mean I hate Steve Jobs. He created not only a successful business from scratch but also contributed greatly to the modern computing industry. I really admire what he did for the computing industry. He will be missed.



In other news, now's the chance to watch Apple stock. I'm curious if it will fall now that their founder died. It's currently at 378.25 a share.

Also, I just learned that Steve Jobs helped to develop Pixar. So, he really did a lot before he died.

It's sad, his college graduate mother gave him up, and he went to college then dropped out, only going to calligraphy classes and eventually developed Apple. So, he didn't even graduate college and became a CEO. He was fired by his business partner and "higher ups" and developed NeXT and Pixar, then Apple bought Pixar and he was working for Apple again. He was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer and survived that... It's sad that the same cancer took his life at what? Age 57?

Ah, we read his recent speech(the one to those college graduate class students) and it almost brought a tear to my eye. The man knew how to motivate :D

He survived I believe 7 years with the cancer.
