There once was a man from Nantucket
Who kept all his cash in a bucket.

But his daughter, named Nan,
Ran away with a man

And as for the bucket, Nantucket.

There once was a man from Iran
Whose poetry no one could scan.
When asked how he did it,
He simply replied:

Who never put quarters in the meter
The cops finally came and beat him with a cane
He fell to the floor
Because he did not want to be hit anymore
He started to pout
Then the cops knocked him out
He heard a bell
And realized that he was in a jail cell
