I just saw the last episode of lost and i am completely "lost" on wat happened lol. how did everyone die at the end? wat happened? and how the hell did that dog from way back in the begining survive?

hey ummmm i stopped watching that show wen i saw the first episode it waz terrible

They didn't show how most of the characters die, just said that everyone is dead now.
The "flash forwards" where all of the characters living in some sort of purgatory.
The dog was only on the island for a couple of years and probably lived off of fish and birds.
