THE BOY IN THE STRIPED PYJAMAS IS HISTORICALLY INACCURATE.
*Pyjamas. It's a British film and book, therefore you spell it the British way.
Because of several reasons.
Only in Old English speaking countries is it spelled humour and colour.. -_- and we don't speak Old English in the US..
Oh and can't forget Aluminium, you lot changed that as well.
I spell it colour.... But that's by habit, however, that doesn't mean it's wrong. With that logic, I guess "konichi'wa" is the incorrect spelling of "Hello." It's a matter of vernacular.
excusez-moi. I've been educated in the American school system..they teach us to spell it like we do here..not like they do in Great Britain and other parts of Europe. We are also the only country that doesn't use the metric system. Its the USA. We are different than you blokes across the pond.
We should know what it is, because we invented the bloody language.
Actually, you didn't. certain Germanic tribes that migrated to what is now known as Great Britain created it. and you can't say "We" because people thousands of years ago did. Not the current population of Brits.
OH MY GOODNESS. CANDY!!!!!! *jumps on top of the van and starts stabbing it with a knife*
no. the candy is in the van. you have to get inside to get the candy.
ok i gotta admit i was pretty interested in the topic about the languages and the book/movie, and i only have one question.....how is the book innaccurate, cuz (i know this isnt saying much) but my teachers all say it is, and by the research ive done alone it seems like it is, so would someone mind explaining that to me.
