is the hunger games good or not good

It is excellent. I'm on the the third book and currently participating in an Hunger Games RP. I hope to soon get some merchandise.

AMAZING The movie is GREAT and the books are VERY well written!

The film could of been better. I didn't really have the same kind of atmosphere/feel to it as the books.

I loved all 3 books... The movie was good but like said in previous comments it could've been better. Now I'm just waiting for the second movie ;)

The hunger games was a pretty good movie.

to bad the hunger games is a childish spin off of another series of better books. now don't get me wrong, Susan Collins did an excellent job of not coming up with original work.

Yeah, but it really didn't have the feel of menace and darkness that made the books so awesome. In the film, the career tributes were just joking with each other, larking about and generally having a jolly good time. In the books they were ready to slit each others throats whenever the opportunity arose.

I do agree Battle Royale is better than Hunger Games, although I do believe Susan Collins had never even heard of Battle Royale until she published The Hunger Games.

Another thing I didn't like about the movie, it didn't have the same kind of tension as the books.

The Hunger Games is an awesome movie because I watched it on new years eave :P
