I would like to receive some feedback on mods. If you want to become a mod you can post here as well. Mods are welcome to post feedback as well!

Some mods are never on anymore and some are here very rarely but I can understand that they are being busy with school life and such.
The chat has been a bit calmer lately but there are avatarless users who spam in the general room and usually there are no mods to take notice of this.

As a regular user of your site, Gamesbutler. I would like to express my opinion about Mods of this website.
So first of all, is not that I have anything against them, I just do not like the work of some ,starting with Mosta. He act's like he's the owner of this place just because he's a Mod. And he bans the other users here without a reason .Taking the example of yesterday where he banned from the general chat Ace, Spidey and Paramore. Simply because they/we were playing a game that he did not like. There are other examples too but this is all I could remember for the moment xD .
Anyway , I don't have anything against the other mods as I said in the beginning ,They just have to be a little more active .

I would like also to express my desire to become a Mod here ..
I want to be a MOD of Gamesbutler.

I was thinking exactly the same as paramore as there are bever mods online when u need one I would like toooo apply for mod asswell and since I decided to return as there are holidays coming and I have unlimited free time :p but yea we need more mods

I would like to be the next mod since I have been here for sometime and mostly active at the site. So, I apply.
I will also do my best at being as fair as possible to improve gamesbutler, And clear the Spammers That para was talking about.

As a mod, here's my input

The only problem with Mosta is that he got a bad rep in the past, and now whenever a bunch of people here see him, they spiral into chaos, making him react, and further lowering the rep. It's unfortunate, but it keeps happening.

If anyone is to be added as a mod, my vote is for Paramore.

I wouldnt mind being a mod :P

I agree with the problem with Mosta here. A lot of chaos seems to erupt whenever certain people get on here and the same group of people keep doing the same thing.

That's why I honestly cannot support anyone applying for a modship here just yet knowing that there were a ridiculous number of problems that came up with everyone that asks.

There's a certain level of maturity I just quite don't see. It may be a sort of hoard mentality that pops up. I wouldn't discount them, but I'd wait and see though. I'd support Paramore the most out of everyone that applied here though since rather recently he's personally seemed to calm down...

I've seen other users who were banned come back on and chat in the main chat with just their name invisible from the chat window. I don't know what the problem is there, but there seems to be "invisible users" on the chat and that's something you can't ban...

Unfortunately,you are being confused. By 'avatarless users',I didn't mean those who don't appear on the user list. I was typing about users with a basic avatar and random names. For example : xaxzzxzaaaxzzx. They do appear on the user list.

Well, that's a different story. Unfortunately, there are times when I would ban those people (they don't seem to exist as actual users), but spamming would continue anyways. The ban system for the chat rooms needs an overhaul because it doesn't work a lot of times (at least for the more annoying cases)

You are exactly right there are a lot of unknown users I see on gamesbutler and they are starting to get annoying with there spamming and not being an actual user that does not have a name like,

And we are almost to 80,000 members.

I put in a temporary fix, not that hard for spammers to get around, but maybe whoever is doing it will grow up, get a life or lose their spamming abilities in a horrible way

I believe the problem with mods not being here is that pretty much all the mods that are on frequently are all in the eastern/cental time zones. Which means that we may miss large portion of time that others are on because we all are asleep or at work/school at the same time. I would vote for Paramore as a new Mod if there was a position, since he is both mature and according to my belief, at least a couple time zones away.

Also is there a official rules page? It would help with regulating exactly what is allowed in chat and what isn't.
