Am I actually the villain here? Is my existence stagnating the development of the city? Everyone relies on me for nearly everything. The police force is a joke, and it's all because I fight nearly all the crime in the city myself. If I stop though, the city will be in shambles. It's my fault Estallium is like this. I need to get out of this. And this is the way to do it.

Though, that wouldn't be very fun. Cast Doom and watch him panic as his counter drops.

But, I totally love level 5 death now. I can kill two people right here if I want to. But that would be unfortunate if I do.

It's more fun to watch them panic as their life dwindles. Knowing they'll die in 10 turns is frightening when fighting a boss.

Well, of course not. You only become "Only Mostly Dead". I mean you can get revived with a Phoenix Down either way. I mean that's why Aeris died in FF7. She was not only mostly dead but dead dead.

But I'll probably just god-mod my way out of the scenario. That, or get to the next level soon.

I was planning on reviving people after I cast it so it would work either way.

Since a while ago.

For some reason I always love having the most petite girl in my story at one point wielding the largest weapon possible at some point.

In this one I'm writing now, the girl's not THAT small (probably about 5'5", very thin all around, but has a very quiet and reserved personality) but she at one point uses a terribly improbable weapon. The story is an urban fantasy story (there's magic in the modern times essentially) So, there's a battle inside a weapons factory. She uses her magic to carry around a gatling rail gun that's typically reserved for jet fighters and mecha. That is, she's fighting with a gun that's like three times her size. And she's doing all the typical tropes you see with guns. At one point she even combat rolls...with that gun that's three times her size.

It's always fun to make the smallest and most helpless looking characters actually be one of the strongest characters in a story. :)
