My idea is a wee bit confusing. It opens up as a typical teenager versus the entirety of the empire kind of story. The teen has magic powers and is generally good at repelling the empire. On his side, he knows he must succeed because a prophecy states that if the continent is united, the world will end. So he's fighting not just for his homeland but to prevent the destruction of mankind.

So, at one point, the Emperor requests to see this kid that's standing in his way or else he'll unleash his secret weapon on his homeland. The kid goes to the Emperor's castle and upon reaching it, finds out the Emperor is a generally agreeable guy...outside of conquest. In fact, the girl that everyone thought was his concubine is actually his closest friend/advisor...who in typical "Evil Emperor"-style is being dressed up like a concubine for the most part. The girl and the Emperor actually care for each other a lot more than most other people and it confuses the kid. And when the kid almost kills the Emperor in combat, the girl steps up and prevents the kid from doing it, but the Emperor warns her to get out of the way because he'll kill her. And really the whole chapter is showing that the Emperor is actually not a real bad guy.

Now, that's not even the really interesting part. The twist is that the Emperor, himself, also has heard a prophecy that states that if the continent ISN'T united under one ruler by the end of the following year, the world will perish. So, both sides are fighting for the fate of mankind, but neither prophecy can be proven false. They were both taken from the exact same source written about the exact same time. So the two end up antagonizing one another in order to try to fulfill their own prophecy in order to save the world.

And, if you haven't guessed, both prophecies are kinda true.

No. It's because our little circle of friends have broken from this site. Kinda died off.

I can see That there were many People used to chat here. The different is obvious.

The Gamezhero to Gamesbutler migration is what caused a lot of the major members to leave. Some of us still remain, but none of us post nearly as much as we did in the site's golden days.

I'm pretty sure gamesbutler was always blue.
