i think i would be a better mod because i'm the kindness person on this site and i can get rid of spammers

i have a suggestion you should have a old and a new one cause the older member knows more and the newest one will most likely have no enemies or grudges with anyone.

The only problem is the newer members might not know how the site works as much. But people that have been here for a medium to long time length would be good.

True and that's the reason why i said 1 old or medium member to teach the new if you understand what i mean.

i think that it's a bad idea to hire a mod because there could be someone that could delete peoples account for no reason

Dom this decision is completely up to you. You shouldn't ask for a vote pick the people that you think would be honest and reliable when it comes to being a moderator.

How about both? You choose out of everyone here who the best options are (maybe choose 5 or so) and have everyone vote for their favorite 2 out of the 5.

That way you will guarantee someone good will get the job, but you won't have to choose WHICH good people in particular will get it.

Well the thing is, Dom says he's looking at the forums and seeing who here are the best candidates. Those people that I know that would probably pass to this second stage wouldn't be the people that would do that. Plus, most of those people know each other and are friends with each other so their agenda will probably be passed anyways (though just without the fancy title)
