I agree a million times. When I say this, I mean no personal offence (to Charles at least), but our society wouldn't be as bad if there were fewer people attempting to acquire professions that only contribute some entertainment to some of our society. What we need isn't more artists or athletes, we need scientists, doctors, and technological developers. I really hate how people that throw around balls get paid millions of dollars a year whereas teachers, developers of the next generations' minds, have to try to make ends meet with their salaries.

To be honest, I have an I.Q. of 150 and a GPA of 4.0+, and I'm nominated for Valedictorian for when I'm a Senior. I could pursue such careers, but, the real question is: Do you want to make good money and hate your job, or work at a job you like? Personally, my talents involve the arts. :P



And I agree, athletes are overpaid. They don't deserve millions of dollars to do steroids and toss a ball across a field.

Become a good leader and help people etc. etc. etc.

i wld by a giant mansion and adopt a bunch of children wit my husband, to giv them a home and loving family
