As a hobby, I like to take shit posts and seriously reply to them as if they weren't shit posts. I do agree with you that World of Warcraft sucks; it's gameplay is standard MMORPG button based and its graphics are substandard compared to most MMOs today. Graphics can be ignored. I'd like to state at this point that this is all an opinion stated with logical backing. I do adore the lore and universe of Warcraft, but the MMO is bland. I think that word is the best descriptor in this case. However, I do not agree that it should be illegal, or that players are retarded. I used to play it, and look at me. I'm replying to a shit post as if it were a serious post worth my time writing this. Major intelligence on my part, so I cannot possibly be mentally retarded.

Well, at the same time, you got to remember that WoW did essentially introduce the idea of MMORPGs to the mainstream markets. The standard MMO tropes did not exist at that time. WoW invented or perfected most of them. Because it created the standard and did not really improve over time, it got bland over time compared to newer more exciting MMOs. Most of my friends dropped out of it by the second expansion only to pick it just for nostalgia purposes at best.
